Apache Ant De-Mystified

SitePoint have published what is the first of hopefully many articles that I’ll be writing for them. Apache Ant De-Mystified is a brief prelude to a revised version of the Jakarta Struts De-Mystified series, the first four parts of which have already been on this site. The remainder of the Struts series will be aired on SitePoint first and will then appear here after a gap of about thirty days.

The Ant series provides a basic introduction to the tool that is aimed squarely at those completely unfamiliar with Ant. And for anyone wondering, SitePoint Photoshopped the picture I sent them—I have it on good authority that I don’t look that ghostly in real life!

Sorry John, that was me ;) The original was a teensy bit muddy though. I remember that when I sharpened the contrast it kept putting bags under your eyes. Still, I've had another go.

Hi Alex, nice of you to drop by! I was joking about the photograph and unfortunately the bags are sometimes there in real life! ;-)
