Wacky Windows

A comic strip that shows that if you use the keyboard to rename the 'My Recent Documents' menu item in Windows XP, it reverts to its default name but the new name is stored in the registry and survives reboots

Ha ha ha! I like it! That Comic Life is cool - maybe it's time for a new photo casebook...

One thing's for sure, with the many oddities in Windows you'll never run out of material!

Say, how did you know which application I used to create it? ;-) That's the first time I've looked at Comic Life and it's really easy to get going with it.

I was going to see if Windows Vista has the same problem but it takes so long to boot using Parallels (unlike Windows XP), that I really couldn't be bothered.

Running Vista? Take my advice - don't bother! A future article will go into details but I'm very close to formatting my work machine and going back to XP!
